I’ve wanted to do some chibi couple icons for a while now. You may use as long as you give credits back to me : )

I’m thinking of doing another set of fours so if you’d like a certain pairing please let me know, I may o may not do it ahaha.

I love how Leigh wrote the Wesper relationship. The 2 parallel and foil each other (it reminded me of Ishida doing it too so i loved it even more). Its the fluffiest of the three main ones and its main themes focus around trauma coming from familial sources (Kanej comes from systematic ones and Matthina from political ones)

Parents

Jasper’s dad loves him

Wylan’s wanted him dead

Jasper’s mom loved him and taught him all his skills

Wylan’s mom loved him and remembered him even at her worst moments.

I especially love how Leigh fleshed them out as much as she could. After seeing thr DLC and the general women face with GRRM, seeing her take the time to humanize the mothers was great. Meredith didnt get as much though i understand why- there wasnt enough time and the POVS are in a pattern hers would break- Im glad she got a happy ending and really hope to see more of her.

Character Arc

They both love things that theyre not supposed to do- Jesper and his gang activites and Wylan and his music.

Both ran away from their problems (wylan had no choice tho so i get that) but were able to face them in the end.

Were born with traits that their fathers disapproved off.

Both craved vailidation due to their self worth issues and in the end were able to resolve them.

GOT A HAPPY ENDING
